The Edinburgh Paving & Landscaping Company is owned and operated by Colin Gillespie and his wife Lisa.
Colin has more than 40 years’ first-hand experience in hard landscaping installations. From large scale installations such as supermarket car parks to one car driveways, Colin and his dedicated team have a wealth of industry knowledge.
Lisa trained in Garden Design at SRUC in Edinburgh and with her previous knowledge of landscaping products gained from her time working in a Builder’s merchants, her expertise is second to none.
Our team are employed by us on a PAYE basis - we do not subcontract meaning that we can provide you with the best possible standard of finish, that we can be proud to put our name to.
All of our work is for private residences, which reach us mainly through word of mouth. We are always delighted to receive recommendations and often there are large webs connecting our jobs in Edinburgh.
We provide a personal service, giving astute advice drawn from our personal experience and knowledge, to help achieve the garden of your dreams. Our clearly detailed quotations are written in a language you can understand and we will happily go over any technical points to ensure you know exactly what to expect.
We can provide full colour plans with concepts and perspective drawings for complete redesign projects, including material recommendations, furniture proposals and planting schemes, which are prepared following on from meetings and using online pin boards to identify your likes and dislikes ensuring the proposals are tailored uniquely to you.
All work carried out comes complete with a written guarantee upon completion; we provide 7 years guarantee for driveway installations, patios, paths, decking and walls.
We are fully insured with public liability insurance to the effect of £2,000,000 to give you complete peace of mind.
We have formed excellent working relationships with our material and waste handlers to maximize our on-site efficiency, thus ensuring high on-site productivity and minimal delays.
We are registered as a waste producer with SEPA.
We have the services of an architect and structural engineer available should we need to use them and can bring in tried and tested blacksmiths, joiners, plasterers and/or electricians to provide a full solution to your project.
